GREAT INTEREST FOR HEALTH CHECKING

Health Center Nis "house of good health" in promotional activity, "Getting closer to the patients," continued this week with the action that was started in early July in Palilula rural area villages that do not have an ambulance. The team of the institution was in the villages Lalinac and Krušce. In total, there were 94 patients and 2 patients in the home setting. Citizens are free to check their health through clinical examination, EKG- at home, determine the level of sugar in the blood and to obtain advice regarding the treatment of chronic diseases. Representatives of the Health Centre Nis, Adult Health Care and Home Treatment, consisting of a physician-nurse, successfully accomplished their medical mission in the field.

About the importance of these activities for the residents of Palilula and cooperation of Municipality of Palilula with the Health Center in Nis, at the beginning of the campaign, spoke Boban Dzunic, president of municipality of Palilula. Palilula Municipality in collaboration with the Health Center in Nis, successfully realized project of health promotion and healthy lifestyles - "Health Bazaar", which is intended for all residents of the City. This activity "Getting closer to the patients" was viewed as mean to help patients who are old, have difficulty with walking or completely immobile and dependent on others for help.
